Seeing the Brain, Not the Behavior: A Neurobiological Approach to Neurodivergent Kids

Ce Esleman, LMFT & Adoptive Mother

Attachment and trauma specialist Ce Elshelman will guide
participants in interpreting challenging behaviors through a
brain-based lens—shifting from correction to compassionate,
effective support.

Grounded in neuroscience, this session explores how differences
in regulation, sensory processing, and stress responses shape
behavior—and what actually works in real-life moments.

PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN HOW TO:
-Reduce escalation and prevent meltdowns
-Increase cooperation without power struggles
-Support regulation and sensory needs effectively
-Build a strong sense of felt safety
-Respond with confidence—without burnout
